Only the email that matters reaches your inbox.

Nothing is deleted. Anything we filter is moved to the Optima Mail Guard folder inside your own mailbox, where you can see it at any time. We are deliberately cautious, so when an email could plausibly come from a real customer it stays in your inbox. If we ever get one wrong, press Not spam and we will put it back and remember the sender.

Yes. We work on the mailbox itself rather than a particular app, so the tidier inbox and the Optima Mail Guard folder show up everywhere you read your email: Outlook, Apple Mail, your phone and webmail.

Microsoft 365 and Outlook.com through Microsoft sign-in, plus SiteGround, cPanel, iCloud, Ionos, 123-Reg and most other providers that offer IMAP. Gmail support is on the way.

We check each new email and keep only the outcome, for example that it was filtered as cold sales with 97% confidence. We never store email bodies, subject lines or attachments. The Security page explains everything in detail.

Always. Open the filtered list in your dashboard, or simply drag the email back in your own mail app, and press Not spam. You can also add rules to always allow or always filter a sender, a domain or a phrase.

You add credit, starting from £10.00, and each email we check uses 0.5p of it. There is no monthly fee and your card is never charged for tiny amounts. Automatic top-ups are available if you want them, and your dashboard will tell you if a subscription would work out cheaper.
